A who’s who of jazz legends featuring in this incredible performance of Ray Noble’s Cherokee. The mind-blowing trumpet solos are from Arturo Sandoval, Randy Brecker, Chuck Findlay & Byron Stripling. The GRP All-Star Big Band was formed in the 1980s by Dave Grusin and Larry Rosen, the founders of GRP Records, and featured many of the jazz greats signed to the GRP label. Frequently part of the band were musicians such as Dave Weckl and Eddie Daniels on clarinet.
